Reiki Shares
A Reiki share, also known as Reiki circle or exchange, is a gathering of like-minded Reiki practitioners (minimum level 1)who participate in group healing treatments on each other. The main purpose for the Reiki share is to give and receive Reiki in a casual atmosphere of friendship, honour, positive energy and support, sharing of knowledge & experience

Introduction to Wirral Reiki Share
Jan Griffin is a Verified member of :- The Reiki Association, The Reiki Federation and a Verified practitioner by the Reiki Council and the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council
We all know how we can get swept away being busy, busy busy with family, chores and work so sometimes when it comes to self care we can be at the bottom of the pile.
As Reiki practitioners from our initial Level 1 training, we are taught that we have a responsibilities to maintain self care.
My goal is to ensure all Reiki practitioners in Wirral and the surrounding areas are supported and have the opportunity to receive Reiki Healing themselves within a group of peers.
Building a like minded Reiki community that is supportive, knowledgeable and happy to share their wisdom

Attending a Reiki Share is a wonderful way of meeting other Reiki students, practitioners, and teachers or sometimes by special arrangement those interested in finding out about Reiki.
The idea behind a Reiki share is for everyone attending to both give and receive Reiki healing in a supportive and loving environment.
There may be 2, 3 or more people to each treatment couch and whilst one person is laying on the couch, everyone else is giving healing to them. When that session has finished, someone else will then be treated. This rotation continues until everyone has received healing.
or those who may wish to build their confidence in giving treatments or for those who have little or no experience of using Reiki, these Shares are a good way to build that confidence and knowledge.
Reiki Practitioners can also benefit enormously from attending Reiki Shares as by nature, they are very giving and wish to heal others, sometimes forgetting their own needs. Reiki shares are an opportunity for them to receive healing.
Reiki Shares are also a good way to meet other like-minded people and discuss experiences of using, receiving or training in Reiki.
Reiki Shares are held at least once a month at various venues around Wirral and serve to be a focal point for ongoing contact and support.
A typical share can last up to 2 1/2 hours and there is always time for discussion at the beginning and the end of the healing sessions.
Participating in a Reiki share is very beneficial to the individual and to the whole group collectively. It is an amazing experience to be part of a group, meeting together, to heal and be healed.
For those Reiki Practitioners who belong to a professional organisation such as the Reiki federation or the Reiki Association I provide certificates of attendance which count for 2 CPD points for continued professional development.
Can I attend a Reiki Share
As the concept of a Reiki share is for everyone attending to both give and receive Reiki healing in a supportive and loving environment, it is important that you have been attuned/trained to minimum level 1 Reiki.
Wirral Reiki Shares are open to all styles of Reiki
Evidence of your training would need to be provided.
On occasion someone who may be interested in beginning their Reiki journey may be invited to attend to support them in making their decision while choosing a Reiki Master,this invitation would only be for one session as an observer.

When are Wirral Reiki Shares
Wirral Reiki Shares are held a minimum of once per month, usually on the last Wednesday per month 6.30 – 9 pm
There are a variety of venues across Wirral were Reiki practitioners are happy to host a Reiki Share.
